Food Science and Engineering(ISSN: 2717-5820 (Print) 2717-5839 (Online)) proudly conducted its first online Editorial Board Meeting on 8 December 2023. This online meeting brought together Editor-in-Chief Prof. Bambang Kuswandi and 11 Editorial Members. All the Editorial Board Members have actively participated in this meeting to gather ideas for journal development.
During this Editorial Board meeting, the EBMs reviewed the journal's performance, and then engaged in an open discussion regarding strategies to attract high-quality papers, enhancement of citation rates, plans for hosting Special Issues, and collaboration opportunities with conferences.
The meeting allowed us to gather as many as possible invaluable suggestions from our Editorial Board Members, playing a crucial role in the journal visibility enhancement and the impending SCI application.
