Fine Chemical Engineering (ISSN: 2717-5677 (Print) 2717-5685 (Online)) held its first online Editorial Board Meeting on 6 December 2023. This online meeting brought together Editor-in-Chief Prof. Qingjie Guo and 15 Editorial Members. All the Editorial Board Members have shown dedication and eagerness to support the journal's growth.

At this Editorial Board meeting, the EBMs had a positive discussion about the journal performance, how to attract high-quality papers, increase citation rate, host Special Issues, and cooperate with the conferences. Notably, the meeting culminated with invaluable suggestions from our Editorial Board Members, focusing on enhancing journal visibility and preparing for the imminent SCI application.

The engagement and insights shared during the meeting were invaluable. It allowed us to gather crucial feedback, engage in candid discussions about manuscript quality, refine our peer-review processes, and delineate comprehensive strategies for the development of our journal.
